Cheyne Stokes Respiration not visible in OSCAR - Fred S - 05-27-2021

Hello,

First of all I need to mention my native language is french, so please forgive my poor quality English  Dont-know
I have a question regarding the Cheyne Stokes Respiration :
The technician in charge of my CPAP data control told me he noticed Cheyne Stokes Respiration in my logs and advised me to see an cardiologist to check for potential heart failure.
Now, while searching for more info on the net, I discovered OSCAR, and wanted to check my logs in it.
But I don’t see any reporting line for Cheyne Stokes Respiration in the daily view.
It’s not that it’s at 0%, it’s just that I don’t get any report on it.
Is it actually because there’s no CSR to be found?
Or do I need to change something in the setup of OSCAR?

Thanks for your help,

Fred

Hi Fred S! - Welcome

OSCAR does not display the CSR label until the Resmed reports at least one event of this type. The use of the CSR label on a Resmed is misleading. The event being reported is actually periodic breathing. If it isn't reporting it in OSCAR, then you are not experiencing them.
