Battery Power Question??? - Tennessee Cattleman - 07-15-2021 Planning on using a 12 volt battery hooked to a Resmed DC-DC converter to power a AirSense 10 cpap machine with the humidifier turned off. My question is for the folks using this set up, what amp fuse on the wire coming from the positive battery post would give protection but not blow when normally operating this machine? RE: Battery Power Question??? - Crimson Nape - 07-15-2021 My 12/24 VDC power supply has a 16A fuse for a 12 volt system. This fuse holder is built in to the power source cord connected to the power supply. RE: Battery Power Question??? - Tennessee Cattleman - 07-16-2021 Thanks Crimson Nape. The guide on my new 12-24 converter lists the power plug as having a 20 amp quick blow fuse, but I have not opened it yet. Going to put another next to the postive battery post. |
