DreamStation Cell Modem - ThaddeusWrz - 08-25-2021 I'm told that many cellular providers are turning off their 3G systems. I'd like to know if the DreamStation cell modem is a 3G, and will it become non-functional soon? RE: DreamStation Cell Modem - pholynyk - 08-25-2021 It may be indicated in the FCC ID, which should be on a label on the back or bottom. (Don't forget to remove the humidifier tank before turning the machine over!) It may have the characters CD (for CDMA, which was mostly turned off a while ago), or G3, or G4. That''s what ResMed did, and it was helpful. OTOH, the RemStar 60 is old enough to have a CDMA modem, so I don't know! My machine was made in 2014, and it has a (non-working) CDMA modem. RE: DreamStation Cell Modem - SarcasticDave94 - 08-25-2021 Not that it was asked, but with OSCAR, does it matter what the cellular does or not? RE: DreamStation Cell Modem - Dawnstar - 08-26-2021 The DreamStation modems are easily removable and replaceable, so if it appears your modem stops working at some point, you could replace it. I swapped my original cellular modem for a WiFi version early on, as my cellular reception is pretty poor |
