Help with Downloading Oscar - BudMeyers - 09-06-2021
Hi - I'm new to this forum. I am trying to get an update of Oscar but it keeps directing me to the forum but it won't allow me to update. Could someone please help me get the update?

Buddy, I'm not certain, but I think what you're seeing is the notification that a beta version of OSCAR is available. That notice was supposed to go out to beta-testers primarily - not the average OSCAR user (unless you had that option selected on the File/Preferences/General page to be notified of test releases). There was an issue in ver. 1.2.0 that caused that popup notice to go out to everyone, instead of those who were beta testers. Supposedly, this will be fixed in the next release.
So it's not a new OSCAR release at this time. OSCAR 1.2.0 is still the current release as of today (Sept. 6, 2021). 1.3.0 is still in beta status and not quite ready for release.
