Info about cushion compatibility [AirFit F20] - SleepingForest - 09-13-2021

Hello everyone.

After 2 months of using my current Resmed Full Face AirFit F20 of L size mask i have started to notice small leaks happening and it got me thinking about changing the cushion of the mask, so here i am with a few questions :

If i had an L mask it wont be a problem if i buy an M cushion right ?
What are the compatible cushions with the headgear from this mask ?
I saw some with silicone and some with memory foam, they are both compatible with the headgear correct ?
Are there other mask cushions besides the two that are compatible ? from Resmed or others .

Thanks .

Cushion sizes are interchangeable in the same mask frame. The fit will be different. Take a look at the Resmed site. They refer to the F20 as a "modular frame that fits all cushion sizes". https://www.resmed.com/en-us/healthcare-professional/products-and-support/masks/airfit-f20/

I use the F 20 mask with memory foam, size large.  I have changed from silicone to foam with no issues.  I have not tried a M mask in a large frame, but I do believe it will work.  If ordering from a DME, I would ask to make sure.

If it says F20, it will fit regardless of size, and whether or not it is the airfit (silicone) or airtouch (memory foam) version.
