Wake-up events - dolceitalia - 09-16-2021

Hello,
I would like to ask if it is possible to insert a new function in OSCAR.
I use the Viatom pulse oximeter which detects movement when I am awake.
Since I noticed that various obstructive apneas, hypopneas and central apneas are detected in the awake phase, I was wondering if it is possible to calculate the indices by excluding, from the measurements, the events that fall into this phase.

That would be tough. Also, you can move while you're asleep too, and have no movement while you're awake, so it's not a firm measure.

Looking at my charts, you see the phase in which the movement is tied to the wake-up phase. With the average of inconsistent values you will have inconsistent results

As stated above, you may be aware of moving during wake times, but not so much if you are asleep. In my opinion, it would be hard to separate that. Also, your machine's algorithm doesn't know if you are awake or asleep.

A solution could be to manually enter the phases in which you are awake since there are few

I use bookmarks for that purpose. I can just highlight the area of the chart where I know (or believe) I was awake and then when I look back, I can just check the notes and bookmarks for what was happening that night.

This is a great function, if I can select the events not to be considered, the statistics would be more consistent
