RE: Respironics PR System One 60 Series REMstar Auto with A-flex - aavenger - 11-08-2021 Yes thanks I checked the serial # and this unit was not on the recall. RE: Respironics PR System One 60 Series REMstar Auto with A-flex - staceyburke - 11-08-2021 There are manuals for almost all models at the top of the site. They are free. RE: Respironics PR System One 60 Series REMstar Auto with A-flex - SleepyCPAP - 11-10-2021 All the System One CPAPs/APAPs are covered under recall. If you typed the wrong number into the Philips Respironics website for recall it just says “not covered” instead of “serial number incorrect”. Whether the foam is deteriorating is different. I have one that has decayed foam, and one that does not (yet). - SleepyCPAP RE: Respironics PR System One 60 Series REMstar Auto with A-flex - aavenger - 11-10-2021 Is there any way to check the foam? How hard to remove the foam? RE: Respironics PR System One 60 Series REMstar Auto with A-flex - quiescence at last - 11-12-2021 there are two different humidifier modes on this model and a way to use just the box without the humidifier. the manuals do help. simplest way to get some control on humidity is done while the machine is blowing air. While it is blowing, the activation can be checked by looking for a blue light number 0 thru 5 around the main dial, only one will be lit at a time. turning the dial clockwise should increase the number once per click. if those show up, choose a 2 or 3 level and try it out. make adjustments from there. when you pick up a machine from most DMEs they show you how to test to see if the metal tank warming pad underneath the tank is working. basically it is to start the machine with a higher setting 3 to 5, waiting a short time like 20 seconds, shut it off, pull the tank, and feel the pad to see if it is above room temperature. If it is, then the humidity levels can be adjusted (the machine is not busted). hope this helps do basic controls. other stuff can be done at the settings menu. QAL |
