Resistance Control setting for Resmed AirFit F20 - aolamid - 02-09-2022 I've been digging through the provider menu for my new DS2, and found the "Mask Type" (apparently what Philips used to call Resistance Control) section which I can set to Off, X1, X2, X3, X4, or X5. I have found lists online of the appropriate values for Philips masks, but I use a Resmed for which I have not found an appropriate setting. Anyone figured out what philips mask has a similar vent rate to the Resmed AirFit F20 full face mask, so I can use that setting? RE: Resistance Control setting for Resmed AirFit F20 - legrunt - 02-10-2022 I used to use X1 for that. Found that it made very little difference. RE: Resistance Control setting for Resmed AirFit F20 - aolamid - 02-10-2022 I notice that the philips published settings: [DME Link Removed] Guide for Mask settings for System One Resistance Control seem to have X1 type for the larger masks, and the higher X numbers for smaller masks. So since my large-cushion Resmed Airfit F20 is big, I think X1 is what I will use. -----

RE: Resistance Control setting for Resmed AirFit F20 - hegel - 02-10-2022 I don't know what a "resistance control setting" is....? RE: Resistance Control setting for Resmed AirFit F20 - Crimson Nape - 02-10-2022 Where Resmed uses a mask setting, Philips CPAPs use a resistance setting. RE: Resistance Control setting for Resmed AirFit F20 - hegel - 02-10-2022 Merci, Mssr. Nape. |
