Vent flow rate. - The Happy Dreamer - 03-10-2012 When looking at my download report, does the leak or vent flow rate go up as the pressure goes up ? RE: Vent flow rate. - zonk - 03-10-2012 ResMed S9 does a good job in calculating leak and shows just mask leak (unintentional leak). Respironcis is a bit complicated for me it shows total leak (intentional leak + unintentional leak) so to work out mask leak have to subtract whatever leak is showing from your mask vent leak. http://www.healthcare.philips.com/asset.aspx?alt=&p=http://www.healthcare.philips.com/pwc_hc/main/homehealth/sleep/masks/pdf/Intentional_leak_rates_for_masks_and_exhalation_ports_20111027.pdf RE: Vent flow rate. - The Happy Dreamer - 03-10-2012 (03-10-2012, 03:07 PM)zonk Wrote: ResMed S9 does a good job in calculating leak and shows just mask leak (unintentional leak). So the flow rates of the mask does show up in the leaks chart? that means that as the cpap pressure goes up so does the leak rate, right? RE: Vent flow rate. - greatunclebill - 03-10-2012 my sleepy head V0.9.2-1 beta shows total leaks. there is an option to show total or unintentional. before the update it showed it a couple ways. |
