1.5 Years since starting CPAP, AHI hovering from 1.5-3 - xdestry - 04-25-2022 Hey guys, been about a year and a half since I started CPAP and my AHI has seemed to settle around 1.5-3 each night. I am definitely sleeping a lot better than before CPAP and no longer have daytime drowsiness but I find myself still waking up a lot while sleeping and still needing at least 8-10 hours of sleep a night to wake up feeling like I got enough sleep. I am wondering if there is anything that I can improve, I have messed with the settings over the last year with EPR anywhere from 1-3, cycle and trigger settings from med-very high etc but my AHI doesn't seem to change. Attached are the graphs from my last week or so. As always thanks everyone for any help you guys can provide! RE: 1.5 Years since starting CPAP, AHI hovering from 1.5-3 - Dormeo - 04-25-2022 I think it'd be worth increasing your minimum to see whether you can head off some of those obstructive events. My guess is that you could raise it to 7 and feel pretty comfortable with that, so you might give it a try. If you're leery, you could move the minimum up in smaller increments. Don't make any other changes, because that could obscure the effects of the increased minimum. If you are comfortable with 7 and you still have more than just a couple of OAs, try 8. Always give new settings at least a few days, given how naturally variable sleep is from one night to the next. RE: 1.5 Years since starting CPAP, AHI hovering from 1.5-3 - xdestry - 04-27-2022 Thank you I raised the minimum by 1 and will try a week or so with the new setting and report back! |
