Still exhausted after 3.5 weeks of use - SSleepyT - 07-25-2022

Hi All,

New to the CPAP/ Sleep Apnea world and hoping someone can help me move in the right direction. Despite my machine showing that I am consistently under 2AHI I still feel exhausted and want to take a nap after 2 hours of being awake. I've done a 1 week CPAP trial and another 2.5 weeks on a personal machine with consistent use. Including OSCAR data (I'm not sure how to interpret it) from my highest AHI night. Sleep study AHI was at 22.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

An expert will come along soon to give you a better answer. In the meantime, it appears that there were several sessions and machine was off and on and off and on. Each time a new session starts, a RAMP cycle happens again -- during which times no therapy is delivered. Why so many sessions?

Thanks for asking! I believe it was to get up to use the restroom.

Welcome aboard, someone will give you more specific feedback on your numbers.. but it may take some time to recover from years of fatigue, so don't expect a major reversal in a few short weeks.

Also when you do make setting changes just do one thing at a time, in smallish steps, allow a few days to a week to see if the change has made any positive or negative difference - multiple/big changes in short succession can cause more confusion than benefit.
