Switching from Dreamwear FF to Resmed Nasal N30i- getting lightheaded - theredheadsaid - 08-03-2022

So i decided to try a nasal mask since i’ve pretty much trained myself to breathe through my nose (yay!)
It is SO comfortable, but i’m lying here with it on and i’m getting lightheaded. It feels like i’m breathing deeper than i did with a full face. Should i turn down my pressure a bit?
Before you ask, yes i did change the setting on the ResMed from full face” to “nasal” ?

Some people find FFM do require a higher pressure than nasal or pillows. You could try turning down the pressure a little and see how you feel and what OSCAR shows.

so a quick google told me that ResMed recommends you use the "pillows" setting for N30i.
I also turned down pressure to 9 (my lowest was previously 10).

I had virtually ZERO apneas last night! whee!

Virtually zero?

virtually zero!

I would call that exactly zero, Absolutely zero, a perfect zero. Many things, but not virtually zero.

Virtually zero, is not zero. Virtually means nearly, almost.

I said "virtually" because of the last row, .31 user flag #2 (set up to catch CA events that are under 10 seconds, which is the criteria for Oscar CA events)

It isn't OSCAR's criteria for a CA, it's Resmed's. OSCAR only reports what the CPAP records.
