How to adjust clear airway apnea detection threshhold? - dkemp234 - 08-06-2022 I am using a ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset. I often find that numerous clear airway apneas are reported with durations of 10 to 12 seconds, even when I am awake in the morning but have not yet removed the mask (trying to go back to sleep). This raises my reported AHI. With my normal relaxed respirtion rate, 10 to 15 seconds is not unusual for me between exhale and inhale movement. Is there a machine adjustment where I can raise the CA detection level from 10 seconds to maybe 15 or 20 seconds? RE: How to adjust clear airway apnea detection threshhold? - srlevine1 - 08-07-2022 I am not aware of any way a user can alter the detection algorithm in a ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset. RE: How to adjust clear airway apnea detection threshhold? - Psychotech - 08-07-2022 no you can't no cpap that i know of can do that, if you are getting ca when your awake than that is normal even i get it, you'll just have to ignore it. and next time post some oscar data so we can give you proper advice RE: How to adjust clear airway apnea detection threshhold? - Crimson Nape - 08-07-2022 What you are asking for is hard-coded into the CPAP's firmware. No adjustment of this is possible. - Red RE: How to adjust clear airway apnea detection threshhold? - dkemp234 - 08-07-2022 Thank you, srlevine1. Thanks, Psychotech. Thanks, Crimson Nape. |
