Settings check - punchup - 12-04-2022

Hello.  I have been using a CPAP for several years.   I have always struggled to sleep through the night often waking many times through the night.  I have tried quite a bit to change other sleeping habits such as bedding, pillows, masks, etc.

I have adjusted my pressure to a minimum of 8 but could use some guidance on if I should raise it higher or anything else to change?

thanks!

With that many OA increasing minimum pressure to 8.0 or more would not hurt, but you have clustered OA which strongly suggests chin-tucking. How many pillows? Read this Positional Apnea article http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php/Optimizing_therapy#Positional_Apnea

Thanks for the quick reply.

I am a stomach sleeper and have tried for a couple of years other positions but with worse results.  On my stomach, I have my head to the side and generally do not roll.

I do wonder if I am often waking myself up or causing leaks by pressing my face too hard and dislodging the nasal pillows.

Prone sleeping with the head turned to the side can twist the airway. Combine that with a slight chin-tuck and it is fully obstructed. Try it.
