Current CPAP machine choice - mzipp - 12-29-2022 Thoughts on Resmed 10 auto "card to cloud " model vs. regular model or Resmed 11 ? RE: Current CPAP machine choice - TonyVivaldi52 - 12-29-2022 The Airsense 10 Autoset "card-to-cloud" is simply an ordinary autoset with no modem. All other features are present, but your machine isn't able to communicate with the Resmed servers via the cellular phone network. This being the case, the card-to-cloud should be a lot cheaper than the regular 10 Autoset, but that is unlikely to be the case in the real world. Whether or not you miss the modem depends on your particular circumstances. You won't be able to use the MyAir app, but frankly that app is rubbish and can be highly misleading. Your insurance company may require proof of use (compliance) which is easy via the modem, but a bit more complex without it. You would be required to provide data using the SD card or else by physically taking the machine in to your supplier. The AS11 is Resmed's newest machine and has mixed reviews. Its algorithm is similar to (or the same as) the AS10, so to that extent there's no difference. However the machine seems to be built to a price, with less robust construction and a smaller blower unit than the AS10. Given a choice among the three, I'd go for the AS10 card-to-cloud and negotiate a discount for the lack of modem.
