This is subject to correction, but my understanding is that duplicate data can reside in the same day's results if you import it more than once. This feature is "supposed" to remove any duplicate data.

I import my data once every day and then hit "automatic oximetry cleanup" and I can see that the oximetry chart changes marginally. It seems like the main thing that changes is the width of dips, so I assume it is trying to remove some artifacts and I'd love to know what it is using for doing this.

Concrete example of before vs after "automatic oximetry cleanup". It actually seems to affect all charts slightly, not just SpO2. (open fullscreen and toggle back and forth)
