JUST NOTICED ALL MY TIMES ARE WRONG? - Plmnb - 03-30-2023

Hi.  I just realized. that all the times are wrong in my charts, graphs and summaries.  Is there a way to fix this?   Is this an Oscar situation or my machine?  I googled the situation but supposedly this is something I would need to fix in MyAir?

I'm guessing that the times are wrong by one hour, and the problem started when Daylight Saving Time started.

This is related to the CPAP machine not changing its time while the computer running OSCAR (and many oximeters) did change its time. This triggers some problems within OSCAR related to the conversion to and from Universal Time. Fixing those problems involves many parts of OSCAR, and will require careful planning. It will get fixed, I'm just not sure when.

Hmmm.  The times are way off more than one hour.  It is more of 3 hours. Unless I'm wrong about what time should be showing?

For instance I went to bed around 9 -11 pm and the times in OSCAR start at 06:00.  I woke about about 4:30 ish am and the ending time is 9:30.  Maybe a TIME ZONE difference?  West Coast vs. East Coast?

It is difficult to pinpoint certain things so I was just wondering.

Your example of going to bet at 9-11 PM and your start time showing at 06:00 is a difference of -3 to -5 hours.
Your example of waking at 4:40 with an ending time of 09:30 is a difference of +5 hours.

You're going to have to narrow it down for me to help. Smile

What are your CPAP's time and date settings showing? Are they set to your local current time and date?

Thinking-about

Morning Sleeprider.

I just can't remember what time I went to bed. BUT I definitely woke up at about 4:30 AM (unfortunately).  My sleep report says I only got 3:44:02 hours on my machine, that would be pretty accurate.  I hope that helps?

Date: March 30th  - Correct

Time: 14:30  - My machine thinks it is 2:30 PM now?

SOO, it is as easy as changing the time to 0940, right?

Only if you didn't record any data that uses that time period. Resmed balks if you try to set the clock back to a time that has data on or after that setting. You might wait until bedtime then set it to allow a big enough gap.

Red,

Well, I haven't recorded any data today or any other day that I know of for a time starting at 0949.  So now might be the best time to reset it?  Because if I set it tonight it might be near a time when I previously recorded night data since I can't remember when I went to bed.

Do you think I can go ahead and do this now because of this?

So long as a sleep session's time does not run into the time period you are going back to, it is fine.
