Opening OSCAR on a MacBook Air with OS Ventura 13.2.1 - VAUser - 04-02-2023

I get the following message when I try to open OSCAR on my MacBook Air:  "OSCAR cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified."  Any suggestions?

Try the steps in the installation Wiki:

Open Finder and go to the folder where you downloaded OSCAR (usually Downloads).

Right click on the OSCAR installer file you downloaded and select "Open"
You will likely get a window that has a warning about OSCAR being from an unidentified developer and that Apple has not scanned the installer for viruses and malicious code. This is just Apples way of getting developers to pay the "Apple tax".

Click OK and you should get the installer window that you see in the wiki. Then drag OSCAR to the Applications folder, then "Eject" the installer dmg. OSCAR should be installed in your Applications folder.

When I get that message, I hit cancel.  Then I click on the Oscar icon with two fingers on the laptop keypad.  This time it gives me the option to open OSCAR anyway, and it works.

Since the latest update, it doesn't make me go through that hoop anymore, though.

I'll admit that I'm Mac challenged, but that screenshot states Zero kilobytes of 16.3 megabytes stopped. I would read that as nothing was downloaded.
