Had a Lofta test and need help with next steps possible CA - TDogg501 - 04-25-2023 [attachment=50087][attachment=50087] I received results from my Lofta home study and like I expected for at least 10 years I have sleep apnea. My results: Obstructive Sleep Apnea 76.5 and Central Apnea: Mild 6.6 I was thinking of probably going to do the Lofta package of AirSense 11, since I was prescribed an APAP, but someone on Reddit mentioned an ASV would be the best place to start. I'm doing this completely out of pocket. But I'm so confused on where to start and I try to look up ASV machines and I can't find them, can I even buy it, if it's not prescribed? I've included one chart as an attachment and the other one is this link here: https://ibb.co/wh4p2PT Can someone please help me. RE: Had a Lofta test and need help with next steps possible CA - OpalRose - 04-25-2023 ASV machines treat Central SleepApnea. It appears you have more of an Obstructive issue. More concerning is your oxygen level. Unless Im reading that report wrong, you spent quite a bit of time under 88%. Has your doctor mentioned supplemental oxygen? You may do well on a ResMed 10 AutoSet, but probably much better on a ResMed AirCurve 10 VAuto (BiLevel). Of course, if you're purchasing yourself, the VAuto will cost much more. I'm hoping you'll get more responses here soon. |
