Advice on how to clean F20 Airtouch? - raptosnorus - 06-28-2023 Just ordered one and was going to give it a shot but then read that you're not supposed to get the foam wet. I can't figure out how I could give it a proper daily cleaning without using soap and water, particularly in the areas where the foam meets the plastic (and drool/condensation will inevitably wind up)... Any advice from satisfied users? RE: Advice on how to clean F20 Airtouch? - Motorheadrulz - 06-29-2023 I don't clean mine unless I sneeze into it- then just use mild soap/water and let air dry. I replace mine monthly. RE: Advice on how to clean F20 Airtouch? - raptosnorus - 06-29-2023 Thanks for the feedback! I'm unfortunately a messier sleeper-- I need a soap/water mask clean pretty much daily, so maybe a foam mask isn't right one for me... RE: Advice on how to clean F20 Airtouch? - SideSleeper - 06-29-2023 This is a great cushion--the only full face one that works for me. They make CPAP wipes, but they are expensive. You can use any wipe that doesn't contain alcohol or petroleum. I personally use the same wipe I use for my face--cheap at Walmart. Pther bathroom wipes would work if the things I listed aren't used in the ingredients. My thought is that if they will clean a baby butt they can clean a CPAP cushion! The cushion does usually need to be replaced monthly. RE: Advice on how to clean F20 Airtouch? - snorin2 - 06-30-2023 I use huggies baby wipes. In the start, I was aggressive and the foam soon ripped at the top near the nose position. Now I am very gentle. Great cushion---just expensive. |
