Help to reduce OA and CA - TMO1 - 07-01-2023 Pre CPAP my AHI was 36 but now it ranges anywhere from 2 - 10. I seem to still be having a combination of both OA and CA even with a 2.6 AHI I am still waking up feeling like a zombie. Can anyone who understands OSCAR data offer any guidance or recommendation on settings to change? I was thinking maybe increasing minimum to 10 and reducing EPR to 2. RE: Help to reduce OA and CA - OpalRose - 07-01-2023 I think you're on the right track. I was thinking 9cm minimum with EPR set at 2. Start there, you can always move up to 10cm. The higher Epap should help with Obstructives (as the Epap is what sprints the airway open), and the lower EPR may help with CA's. If you're going to use the ramp feature, please move the start of ramp closer to the minimum pressure. Set it to 6cm. RE: Help to reduce OA and CA - Sleeprider - 07-01-2023 Gosh, I was looking at your chart and thinking higher minimum pressure, then read OpalRose above. I guess she is a step or two ahead of me today. |
