Can you get a warning about no SD card? - jerrykur - 08-02-2023

Hi,

I pull the SD card from my system ever few days and upload the information to Oscar.  This works great!

However, every few months I forget the SD card is in my computer and than go a day or two without having the SD card in my ResMed.  As a result, I lose the detailed data for these days.  How can I solve this problem?

Is there a way to have the ResMed warn about the lack of SD card?  What sort of strategies are others using to ensure their SD card is always in their system?

I've done that too. OSCAR warns us. However, I have to remember still. I changed my habit. After it transfers I take it out right away. I put it in the S10 I have.

But this is only one of the things that I forget to do...

I think it would be great if the CPAP device would warn us that we don't have a SD card in as soon as you pushed the start button.  A nice beeping tone and something on the display.
This could automatically disappear after 10 seconds or when you acknowledged the lack of SD card.

I believe the the S9 does exactly that --gives a warning screen when there is no sd card or if the sd card is on read only.

I dont know about the Airsense 10 but the 11 does not come with a card and therefore there would not be a warning.
I also put the card in my mac everyday and set up my notifications to notify me with Oscar which leaves a note on my screen when it uploads data successfully and also when I exit Oscar to remember to put the sd card back . I do not remove the message until after I ejected the card and put it back in the machine. S*cks to get old.

Probably because it doesn't have cellular communication.

I don't know if this will work ?? You could use 2 SD cards swap them in the cpap machine ..

Yes, it will work. The only thing to remember is each card will have your detailed data for every other day.

As long as Oscar puts all the data in order it should be good ..
