Oscar Problem - Dannobre - 08-03-2023

I have been using Oscar for about a month and haven't had any issues

This morning I tried to open the software and it opens...  pwd goes in and then it has a blanc white screen with the menus at the top

If I try to enter any F Key shortcuts it doesn't open any of the other screens

It appears to not be loading the profile?

I have rebooted the computer/ un-installed and re-installed Oscar twice and still behaves the same

Could this be a W11 issue?  I thing there was an update yesterday?

Any Ideas where to look?

Dan

Hi Dannobre! - Welcome

Try renaming the OSCAR-Data directory. Start OSCAR and allow it to create a new directory. See if this corrects the problem. For some reason, this sounds like a corrupted data directory.

Solved the problem....

For some reason the software didn't like the Open GL graphics setting in Preferences.

I changed it to ANGLE/ OPEN GLS and it rebooted and started working.

Strange thing I changed it back and it still works??

Dunno...  but all good ;-)
