Bilevel ASV - Resuming After Septoplaasty - Dread - 08-16-2023

Well, its been a few months... I got a tiltration done and turned out I failed CPAP, APAP, and BiPAP. They put me to BiPAP-ST and got my AHI to 0.5, with oxygen at 94 which seems alot better then before. Should I try to get my AHI to 0?

No. Chasing zero is futile. Comfortable, restful sleep is the target.

RE: Update (BiLevel) - Dread - 08-16-2023

The only concerning thing is I’m having 6.0 arousals per hour.

RE: Update (BiLevel) - pholynyk - 08-17-2023

Hmm, I see both of us need to update our profiles to show out new machines,,,

Ih you have an AHI of 0.5 and six arousals per night, something else is going on. Perhaps a screenshot from OSCAR would helps us help you.

RE: Update (BiLevel) - Dread - 08-17-2023

Atleast during the sleep study I was having 0.5 ahi, 6.0 arousals. I’ll try the machine tonight / tomorrow and send oscar

OSCAR. Sorry, tried to fit it all in one. The sleep tiltraton did say i was having centrals but they were starting to go away at this pressure.

I also notice this pattern consistently... could someone tell me if its palatal prolapse? Follows it consistently on flow rate.

RE: Update (BiLevel) - Dread - 08-20-2023

In my Oscar data, I do notice my bilevel max's out at 10 suggesting I need to slowly increase IPAP. However when should I increase EPAP? if I start to have OA? and would higher EPAP make CA worse?

RE: Update (BiLevel) - Dread - 09-17-2023

Struggling alot. I can barely get any REM even on BiPaP ST? Any ideas to help?

Post a full OSCAR daily chart, please!
