Pilot-24 no longer recognizes CPAP - DanDV - 08-20-2023 My Medistrom Pilot-24 Lite battery was plugged into my ResMed AirSense 10 CPAP when it started giving the error code indicating that the PAP device was incompatible (blue light, three LOUD beeps, repeating). Does anyone have any thoughts on what I could try to fix it? Or am I going to have to send it in for service? It worked fine plugged into the AirSense for 16 months. I had it plugged in to charge continuously, with the battery then plugged into the CPAP. It gave the error in the middle of the night--a rude way to wake up! I've tried it with my AirMini. It gives the same error. It provides power, but the alarm screams. It also gives the same error if just the cable is plugged in to the 'DC out', without the CPAP. Thanks, Dan RE: Pilot-24 no longer recognizes CPAP - Crimson Nape - 08-20-2023 Hi DanDV ! - I read somewhere (either here or on the Medistrom site) that Medistrom does not recommend a continuous charge of their products. It was something about their charger is not designed for a maintaining type of charge. - Red |
