Full Face Mask Interface? - ejbpesca - 08-24-2023 What is a Full Face Mask Interface? My Insurance list of supplies says I should get one a month. I don't think I've gotten one ever in 15 years of CPAP therapy. I have searched the online CPAP supply stores with zero results. DME has no answer either. Thank you for your attention. RE: Full Face Mask Interface? - Sleepless in Dewberry - 08-24-2023 I would venture that it is a term used for a Full Face Mask. A google search showed a few instances of sellers using the term Full Face Mask Interface. I used the search term CPAP Full Face Interface. RE: Full Face Mask Interface? - OpalRose - 08-24-2023 I believe it's just a fancy way of saying the full face mask cushion or full face hybrid cushion (which covers nose and mouth), depending on which mask you are using. If your insurance says you're eligible for 1 per month, then it's not the mask itself, but the "interface" or cushion (the part that touches your face). RE: Full Face Mask Interface? - ejbpesca - 08-24-2023 I call them masks, I've seen them called cushions. I wear a full face mask that of coarse has a cushion built into it. F20. I usually get 1 mask a month then an extra one when I get the head gear every six months. I have never, until now, seen on the approved coverage list. "Full Face Mask Interface." Seems redundant because masks are also mentioned. I was thinking it was maybe the interface elbow between mask and hose. Guess not. |
