Dreamstation 2 session tracking - hillie16 - 09-15-2023 My insurance no longer tracks my usage, so it's really not a big deal, but my Dreamstation 2 doesn't track session with any accuracy whatsoever. Last night I slept 7 hours using my CPAP, and it says I used it for 16 minutes. The previous day I slept six hours, and it says I slept 2 hours. The day before that it was accurate. The day before that I slept 6.5 hours, and it says 2 hours. Any idea whats going on with it? RE: Dreamstation 2 session tracking - Lucky7 - 12-03-2023 Given the recent safety warning from FDA about Dreamstation 2, I encourage you to report this to FDA (directly, and not Philips) https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/medwatch/index.cfm?action=consumer.reporting1 RE: Dreamstation 2 session tracking - sauerkraut - 12-04-2023 hillie16; Lucky7 gave great advice .. Your problem could be a programing problem or a malfuction in Your machine .. Either way with all the other problems Phillips is having more information is always better !! RE: Dreamstation 2 session tracking - StratCat48 - 12-04-2023 hillie..... I suggest you might try using the OSCAR software to look at the DS2 data. OSCAR will give you a better idea of what the DS2 is actually doing for usage time and determine if the DS2 is not giving continuous therapy through the night. You will need an SD card (32gb is easy to find) and an SD card reader (your computer may have one already or an external one that uses USB). Are the usage hours on the display of the DS2 correct? I do use DreamMapper in the morning as a quick check and occasionally there is a delay in grabbing all the data, but it usually catches up. Are your sleep hours 'normal', (ie 11pm to 7am)? OSCAR software....... https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/ OSCAR - The Guide....... https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php/OSCAR_-_The_Guide There had been a problem reported a while back where the DS2 was shutting down at intervals during usage. OSCAR may help show if this is happening to yours.... https://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-Dreamstation-2-shuts-off-every-hour |
