Software for iPad - wallybru - 09-17-2023

Is there a software compatible with the iPad?

The iPad has a very strong resolution. I stream videos; and the picture on the iPad, is better than any other.  I believe it has 2100 pixels across.

I believe the iPad is a very popular machine. I used Msdos, ie Windows, for a couple of decades and the iPad is very much better except for high-end graphics, such as AutoCad. Microsoft has a chokehold on Autodesk. ?

Wally, wish I had better news for you, but there really isn't any good software out there that can be installed on an iOS iPad.

If you're really wanting to get into properly analyzing your CPAP data, the best advice I could give you is to purchase a cheap PC (or borrow someone's PC) where you can install and use OSCAR.

I think I posted it elsewhere, but the OSCAR-compatible PC operating systems are:

Windows 7/8/10/11
macOS 10.13 High Sierra or higher
Linux Debian and Ubuntu
Chromebook AMD64 and ARM64
RasPiOS 32bit and 64bit.

I know you like to use an iPad, but for the near-term future, that's not going to be an option for OSCAR users.  So it might be worth it to you to spend a bit in order to get that PC.  You don't even need a high-end one at all.  If you look around, you can get an inexpensive PC & Monitor running Windows7 or 8 really cheap.  And that's all you'd really need, plus perhaps a $20 USB SD-card reader if the PC doesn't come with one.

Thank you very much for your answer. Yes I do love my iPad. I struggled with msdos for so many years. I do have a couple of friends with Apple machines.  Wink

I fully understand.  My first jump into the PC world was using command-line MSDOS 5.0 back in the early 1990's, later upgraded to 6.22 (the ultimate, I thought back then)   Those were the days.   Coffee
