How is it an EPR setting made? Aircurve 10      S mode

RE: Epr setting - Crimson Nape - 09-20-2023

EPR is only an option on the AirSense CPAP series. An AirCurve Bilevel uses a PS value in the VAuto series. The AirCurve S model is a static pressure unit and uses the IPAP at one value and the EPAP at a lower value to achieve the pressure difference.

The aircurve 10 unit has an S setting or mode in addition to the others. And the clinicians manual indicates that it has the EPR setting while in the S mode. And but it does work OK with the PS setting. It’s giving me 6 to 16 without a problem.

EPR is effectively identical to @ differential pressure. There is nothing for EPR to do in the S mode where IPAP and EPAP are separately set.
