Oscar writes to Resmed SD card? - JoeS01 - 09-22-2023 Hello, Does OSCAR write to the SD card on my AirSense 10 Auto with 4G when downloading and reading data from the SD card? Wondering if I should make the card Read Only and lock it. Thanks for your help, Joe RE: Oscar writes to Resmed SD card? - Gideon - 09-22-2023 You are good without locking your SD card . OSCAR never writes to the SD card. RE: Oscar writes to Resmed SD card? - Crimson Nape - 09-22-2023 OSCAR does not write anything to the SD card, it only reads the data. Windows O/S will write a system volume information file, if you don't disable it. Only the Resmed S9 series had a problem with any extra files on the SD card. Many have reported that they have forgotten to unlock the card when placing it back in the CPAP and receive an error. You must have it unlocked for CPAP use. - Red RE: Oscar writes to Resmed SD card? - stevew77 - 09-23-2023 Yes, no need to lock the SD card with OSCAR, unless you think you make stupid mistakes. LOL! RE: Oscar writes to Resmed SD card? - SarcasticDave94 - 09-23-2023 Yep you don't need to lock the SD card when in the PC unless you're on an older ResMed 9. |
