Is this APNEA, UARS or movement issues? - lexit957 - 10-26-2023 Helo, all- I was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea (AHI 5.2) but have not thus far been able to stick with a cpap. My main symptoms are extreme fatigue despite 8-9 hours of sleep. My sleeo study showed low amount of deep sleep and sleep fragementation as well as PLMD.I tried a dental device however it actually increased my AHI. Thus far the biggest positive change I've made was getting a body pillow and forcing myself sleep on my side. The nights I avoid my back I have my oxygen levels remain almost all above 94% and I feel slighlyt better (but not completely.) I have an oxygen/motion and pulse monitor and I was looking at the data. Last night I slept for 8.5 hours and I feel like I took a red eye as usual instead of sleeping. Something led me to not sleeping well. I'm seeing a lot of movement - is this possibly the main cause? Or do my oxygen levels point to a breathing issue? I will take this data to the sleep doctor as well but so far my 5 minute appointments have not resulted in any help. Thank you all in advance. [attachment=55558] |
