I downloaded OSCAR 1.5.1 and got this message when I opend the file:
This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

<devicereplay oscar="1.5.1+master-dd495e23"/>

Can anyone help me get the program to work. I have only moderate computer shills.

Hi sleeper2460!  -  Welcome

What XML file?  The install file should be an "EXE" file.  Please run a SHA256 checksum on your download and compare its results to the one you downloaded, as listed in the OSCAR Downloads > Documents > SHA256 Checksums for all installers.

Here is a quick link to this file:  https://www.apneaboard.com/OSCAR/OSCAR-1.5.1-checksums.txt

A little tip, since the checksum values are about a half-mile long, look at the 5 last digits first.

To help check the file, here are the steps for Windows 10 users:
    Using Command Prompt
  1. Press Windows+R to open the Run box
  2. The Command Prompt window will open.
  3. Run the following command:
    certutil -hashfile C:\file\path\OSCAR-1.5.1-Win64.exe SHA256
Make sure to replace C:\file\path\OSCAR-1.5.1-Win64.exe with the actual path to the file.
  4. Compare the generated value to the checksum of the file to the one in the OSCAR-1.5.1-checksums.txt file.
    Using Power Shell
  1. Press Windows+R to open the Run box
  2. Type powershell and click OK.
  3. The Windows PowerShell window will open.
  4. Run the following command:
    Get-FileHash C:\file\path\OSCAR-1.5.1-Win64.exe -Algorithm SHA256
Make sure to replace C:\file\path\OSCAR-1.5.1-Win64.exe with the actual path to the file
  5. Compare the generated value to the checksum of the file to the one in the OSCAR-1.5.1-checksums.txt file.

Good luck!

Probably obvious, but just in case, make sure you're downloading OSCAR from the Official Download page, here:
