Help with F&P infoUSB on Mac OSX - AndrewBV - 09-21-2013

Hi

I'm new to the CPAP device using community and am struggling with a few questions, I am hopeful someone here may know the answers to.

I have just purchased a F&P Icon + Auto device in the UK and i need to "activate" the data tracking capability by running the "infoUSB" setup.exe.

1. It is windows based and I run mac OSX and can't get it to run using "Wine" (Windows emulation software) - any suggestion? I note the in the uS Apps store there is an infoUSB app, but this is not available in the UK Apple apps store, why?

2. As I have not "activated" it my device is operating in the "Simple mode" and I can't work out how to get it to provide me access to the advanced mode menu - is this because i have not activated it?

3. Assuming I can activate it, will I be able to track my own sleep data? Looking around various web sources to try to solve this myself, it appears there may be an issue with this (as I note that the F&P data system is for sleep professionals only!?!)

I don't know anything about the data-management software but I'm sure someone does and will be able to help you soon.
