Airsense 10 Humid failed ? - tpm1952 - 11-16-2023 my humid does not work any longer. Is there anything I can try to fix this? I have tried unplugging for a while to no avail. RE: Airsense 10 Humid failed ? - OpalRose - 11-16-2023 Can you be more specific? Are you referring to the humidifier? RE: Airsense 10 Humid failed ? - tpm1952 - 11-16-2023 Yes, the display indicates humid failed and that it will run w/o it. RE: Airsense 10 Humid failed ? - OpalRose - 11-16-2023 Try changing your humidifier settings. Are you using a heated hose? Is everything connected properly? Is the humidifier tub seated properly? Is the chamber leaking? Have you tried a new humidifier chamber? How old is your Cpap? You may want to consider asking a DME or a service center to check it out. RE: Airsense 10 Humid failed ? - Sleeprider - 11-16-2023 Resmed humidifiers have a fuse in the housing below the humidity chamber that will sometimes blow. The fuse is not considered user-serviceable, but ifixit sees it differently https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/ResMed+AirSense+10++Heater+Fuse+Replacement/137047 RE: Airsense 10 Humid failed ? - robbob2112 - 11-16-2023 From reading on the ifixit site there is trouble sourcing the fuse itself. It appears to be a thermal type that just clips in, if it is loose from just banging around you can just put it back in and see if is tight and that fixes your issue. https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectronicsRepair/comments/1204i4j/help_identifying_a_type_of_fuse/ The part number and data sheet can be found below. They make sense - 98c cutoff and 5 amp current max. There are a few alternate parts listed that would work from digikey or mouser electronics but this was the only one I found with exactly the same specs. The alternates have the same temp and current specs but different impact and other stuff so physically they would fit and electrically they are the same. Therm-O-Disc - G7F01098C TESTCO (testco-inc.com) If that is good then you can replace the whole heater and the fuse - fuse sold separately of course - and if I had the bottom off I'd go ahead and replace the fuse anyways.... airsense heater Robert RE: Airsense 10 Humid failed ? - robbob2112 - 11-17-2023 looks like testco is having website issues still and my norton is preventing it from opening properly - here is a newark electronics link https://www.newark.com/thermodisc/g7f01093c/fuse-thermal-93-c-5a-250vac/dp/39T4443?st=thermal%20fuse%2098c |
