Help my mom fix brainfog!!! - wrong machine settings? - jra110 - 12-07-2023
Hi there!
My mom has had brainfog and fatigue for about 4 years. Its been horrible to watch. Shes lost relationships, friendships and a job. She says it feels like she hasn't even been living for this period of time.
She has recently done a sleep test and has a AHI of 11 and has been using a CPAP for 45 days. The first 2 days were great, she was full of energy!! However after that, the brainfog came back and there has been minimal progress.
She is terrible with technology and I really want to help! We have tried the standard stuff like increasing pressure, reducing leaks, changing masks.
If someone could help me interpret her data, I'll love you for ever, she'll love you forever and the rest of our family will love you forever!

G’day! Any chance you could download OSCAR and use that to produce charts? The links for downloading and organising the charts are in my signature. There is a lot of data we use to do the analysis and it is not on the images you provided. If necessary we can work with SleepHQ, but personally I prefer OSCAR.
First thing, an AHI of 11 is not that bad. However, AHI does not tell the complete story as there are many factors that we need to consider.
