Do wedged pillows alleviate nasal congestion? - NoddingHacker - 12-07-2023

I've noticed that if I use my hand to support my head at a 45 degree angle towards the ceiling, my nose gets decongested (indoors or outdoors). I've combed through the literature, but any discussion of sleeping position with regards to sleep apnea is about the whole body (i.e. supine vs prone vs lateral) but noobdy has measured nasal cross sectional area with different head elevations.

Did anyone here try using a wedged pillow?

Yes, but it has no impact on my congestion as it is all allergies in my case. Flonase, Azelastine, and Neti Pot saline rinse are the only things that clear my nasal congestion. At least for a while.
