oscar stats-need help - teamarliss - 12-07-2023 [attachment=56896][attachment=56897][attachment=56897]For the past couple of weeks my AHI has been elevated and has now culminated to almost double digits every night. I was hoping someone can provide insights based on the Oscar data attached. thanks in advance RE: oscar stats-need help - PeaceLoveAndPizza - 12-07-2023 How did you end up with your current settings? Trial and error? Doctor recommended? Looks to me like leaks, flow limitations, and not enough pressure, are the enemies at hand. When is the last time you changed the cushion or headgear? That may be a contributor. Has anything else changed? If I would change anything it would be increase pressure by 1 cmH2O and try increasing the pressure support a bit as well. The leaks require some fine-tuning of your mask setup. Maybe a new cushion, a bit more or less tension on the headgear, may be all that is needed. RE: oscar stats-need help - teamarliss - 12-07-2023 Leaks in general haven't really been an issue for me, I know in one of the screenshots it is but that was due to tossing and turning and adjusting my mask that night. I've arrived at the pressure levels through trial and error after initially being prescribed 6-13. I lost a lot of weight a year ago and started getting frequent central apneas, so I decreased the ps and adjusted my levels to 6-10. I've since gained a little of that weight back, and have been increasing my inhale pressure but I'm a bit nervous if I do it too much I will get central apneas again. What is flow limitations? |
