Oscar and ResMed - Domino96 - 01-02-2024 I am a new Oscar user and have a couple of questions-- The Leak rate reported by my ResMed Airsense 10 is different that the leak reported by Oscar when I download the data from my SD card. It's usually more in Oscar. For example, the leak rate reported on my CPAP machine for today was 10. When I imported the data into Oscar the Leak Rage was reported as 14.4. Are these two numbers supposed to be the same or is there an explanation for the difference? On the Daily Page / Events Oscar does not show the time in parentheses for Hypopneas like it does for other events. Is it supposed to be showing the duration of Hypopneas or is this just not a feature that is included? Does the total time in apnea reported by Oscar include Hypopneas? I been on CPAP therapy for about 10 months and have just now found the apnea Board and Oscar. Great resources! RE: Oscar and ResMed - Crimson Nape - 01-02-2024 Hi Domino96! - OSCAR only reports the data supplied by the CPAP. The Resmed default reporting period on their CPAPs is one month. You can change it to several lengths of time, including "Daily". If you change it, it will maintain this reporting time until you unplug the machine's power. It will reset back to monthly at that time. The reason hypopneas do not report a time is that Resmed does not report one. So no, Time in Apnea can not include hypopneas. - Red RE: Oscar and ResMed - Domino96 - 03-19-2024 Last week, I updated to the lastest version of OSCAR. Now, when I open the program and select the Statistics page, the report date defaults to August 13, 2024 every time. Before the update, the Statistics page always defaulted to the current date. It's no problem getting back to the current date, but I was just wondering why this way happening??? RE: Oscar and ResMed - Crimson Nape - 03-19-2024 I'm unable to duplicate your error. Also, you didn't specify the OSCAR version your using. Try changing the Report Date to March and see what happens. Also, Since this topic is software related, I'm moving the thread to the Software Support Forum. - Red RE: Oscar and ResMed - Sleeprider - 03-19-2024 What is the date on your machine? 8/13/2024 is about five months in the future. There should be no data to populate most of this graph, and indeed nothing is recorded until you go back 6-months in this report. You may have inadvertently changed the date on your Resmed, and that has been recorded in the data and Oscar. To set the date back to March 19, you're going to have to purge the user data, and the card, and reset the time/date. If Oscar has some future data recorded (you can find it on the detail tab and look in the daily calendar August 13), you will have to purge that day. RE: Oscar and ResMed - Domino96 - 03-19-2024 To C. Nape: I updated to 1.5.2 after I saw a notice about this on the forum last week. As noted in my original post, if I change the date for the report to 3/18/2024, it populates the correct data on the Statistics page. But if I close OSCAR and reopen, it's back to 8/13. Not a big problem, just a minor aggravation. Thanks for checking. To Sleeprider: Date on my ResMed 10 and on my computer is correct. (See attachment.) There is no data recorded after 3/18/2024 and the Statistics page correctly reflects this. First time I saw this I thought I had lost data until I realized what was happening. RE: Oscar and ResMed - Crimson Nape - 03-19-2024 I could not duplicate your error. Have you checked the Daily screen to see if you happen to have data for that date? - Red RE: Oscar and ResMed - Domino96 - 03-19-2024 No Data on that date. see attached. RE: Oscar and ResMed - Crimson Nape - 03-19-2024 OK, let's try creating a new profile. Use your normal CPAP data to populate this profile and see if it happens to the new username. - Red RE: Oscar and ResMed - Domino96 - 03-20-2024 Thanks. I'll try this and let you know. Like I said, it's not a big problem, just a minor aggravation. |
