Resmed Algorithm changes? - BelgianWaffle - 01-05-2024

I have been using a Resmed Airsense 11 since Nov 2022. I was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea. Once I started Oscar I saw very few OA event, and mostly CA events. My doctor said this was treatment emergent complex sleep apnea. Recently, as of mid December, the apnea profile from the Resmed algorithm seems to have changed. On the Oscar graphs I see mostly obstructive apneas - so where I had a lot of purple bars they are now blue. I am wondering if Resmed changed the algorithm? Anyone with similar experience?

I doubt the algorithm has changed. That would require a firmware update.

The good news is that adjustments can be made to your settings that will likely reduce the number of apneas. See this article about how to organize your OSCAR charts. You can post them here so we can look at them and make recommendations for adjustments to your settings.
