N30i / P30i pillow attachment fail - glomph - 01-09-2024 I bought new pillows for my headgear - and discovered when I pulled out the old pillow unit, that the clear hard-plastic flattened-oval rings which belong to the headgear just stayed attached to the old pillow. Of course no click-snap is possible now! What holds those stiff acrylic-plastic rings to the main silicone tubular body of the headset? Any way to fix this? I doubt cyanoacrylate (superglue) will work. No evidence of old adhesive anywhere that held the hard rings in place. The headgear's in fine shape except for that - is this planned obsolescence? [note: I googled & searched here for this problem before posting this] thanks, Dr G Photo of the relevant attachment parts: [attachment=58202] RE: N30i / P30i pillow attachment fail - Nightynite - 01-09-2024 It looks like the lip of the headgear holds the plastic oval ring in place. I would think you could just wiggle it back into the headgear end. RE: N30i / P30i pillow attachment fail - glomph - 01-09-2024 of course I tried that... the thin silicone lip is no match for the force required. Pulls right out. |
