ResMed Airsence 10 for her SD Card - BNelson - 01-12-2024

I have an ResMed Airsence 10 for her and have some questions on the SD card I am hoping that someone can answer.
How many events does the SD card hold. Does it expire? What happens when the SD card gets full. Does the unit continue to function once the SD card is full. Can the SD card be erased through Oscar and is there anything that one needs to know before doing so.
Appreciate any information and any other details that would be useful.

  • How many events does the SD card hold? : This is dependent on the size of the card. A 4GB card will probably hold about a year or two worth of data.

  • Does it expire? : No.

  • What happens when the SD card gets full? :  According to Resmed, it is supposed to start overwriting the oldest entries.

  • Does the unit continue to function once the SD card is full? :  Yes.

  • Can the SD card be erased through OSCAR, and is there anything that one needs to know before doing so?:  No, you must erase the card using your PC's utilities for this.

Due to the SD card's high failure rate, it is highly recommended that you regularly back up its data to a dedicated directory on your computer.  You can also use this directory for OSCAR imports.

Red, just to be clear, if I'm downloading my data regularly to OSCAR, my data is saved there, correct?

OSCAR does not save all the files. It doesn't store the Settings folder. I'm a strong advocate of redundancy.
