multiple windows ? - zaienk - 01-16-2024

Hello,

I would like to know if there is a tip to have multiple windows of oscar, at least 2? for example to "compare" 2 differents night side to side?
I use it on a mac.

Yes, at least on Windows. I haven't tried this on any other platform, but I just tried it prior to posting this and was successful. I was able to start a different version as well as starting the same version. Why not try it? Open the first instance of OSCAR, then once it is up and running, double-click your icon again (or whatever a Mac user does) and try starting a second instance. The worst thing that can happen is it will not start.

Thank you, I already tried this but mac will no create a second instance of a already opened app...

OK, then the next way is to create a separate installation of OSCAR. Instead of locating it in the global app area, place it locally in your home directory.

Thank you I found a way to do it. I just duplicate Oscar in the folder app using the "Secondary click" (then the option duplicate appears), I got a second Oscar in the app folder and I am able to launch then both.
