Odd flow rate - mouth breathing? - PaulaO2 - 01-31-2024

I was sick for a few days, thought it was a cold. Wife was supposed to go on a retreat and has to take a covid test first. So we got an extra and I tested positive (she is still negative). This was our first fun with this virus.

I used my nasal pillows a few nights but the congestion and snot bubbling was just too much. So I got out my FFM (Evora) and started using that. We propped me up on pillows, too, to help with congestion and cough.

I checked the data and got some weird flow rates. It was when I was the most congested and having to breathe through my mouth. And I can tell I was still awake. Is this why the flow rate is so spikey? The mouth breathing? Just curious. I was also coughing some, but not that much sitting up. I'm still using the Evora and still coughing but not seen this pattern since.
