New User Please Help with my chart - apapnoob - 01-31-2024 Hello everyone, I am a new user. Please help me improve my sleep. Attached are my charts. Thanks in advance. [attachment=59094] [attachment=59095] [attachment=59096] RE: New User Please Help with my chart - staceyburke - 02-01-2024 You have high flow limits. FL are apnea just like H and O events, they are shorter time (less than 10 seconds). But FL cause the cpap machine to raise pressure.. Compare the pressure chart with the FL chart and you can see when you have flow limits your max pressure goes up. And that causes you to wake up of if not that bad you never get into deep sleep. We use EPR to help FL. The problem is some people get treatment emergent centals and if that happens we will have to make changes with the EPR. but give this settin for a day or 2 and post again, ahd as other said get rid of pie chart and pir craph.. RE: New User Please Help with my chart - apapnoob - 02-01-2024 Thank you for the quick response. What do you meant "get rid of pie chart and pir craph"? I don't see pie chart in my attachment. Also are you saying keep the current setting for 2 days, or you provided a new setting? RE: New User Please Help with my chart - Deborah K. - 02-01-2024 If I were you I would set the minimum pressure to 7 and the highest pressure to 16. Also, raise your EPR level to 3. That should be more comfortable and provide better treatment. RE: New User Please Help with my chart - apapnoob - 02-01-2024 Deborah, thanks for the suggestion. I will give it a try tonight. Kevin RE: New User Please Help with my chart - apapnoob - 02-02-2024 With the new settings, the AHI looks much better, here is my new chart, anything else to try here. I still feel a little sleepy during the day. Thanks for the help in advance. Kevin [attachment=59162] RE: New User Please Help with my chart - apapnoob - 02-03-2024 Last night's chart, look about the same as the night before with the new settings. There seems to be still many flow limits issues, if I understand correctly. Should settings to adjust further? thanks.. Kevin [attachment=59199] RE: New User Please Help with my chart - OpalRose - 02-03-2024 Looks like a lot of movement with your mask. If you line up the leak graph, you'll see a correlation with the flow limitation graph. Be sure you're using the correct size nasal pillow. You may need a larger or smaller size. Also you may be knocking the mask around if you're a restless sleeper, like moving around a lot. With your median pressure at almost 9cm, let's move the minimum pressure to 9cm. It's not necessary, but I'd narrow the pressure range with a max setting of 15cm. You can also move EPR to 2. See how that feels for a couple nights, but pay attention to mask fit and nasal pillow size. RE: New User Please Help with my chart - apapnoob - 02-03-2024 Thank you, will try your suggestions. Kevin RE: New User Please Help with my chart - staceyburke - 02-03-2024 I would try moving the min to 8. That should help the flo limits somewhat. |
