Hey everyone, trying to find an answer to this question so let me know if there’s another post discussing it. I recently switched to a resmed 11 and have noticed that it has a number for tracking central AI which I understand is central apnea events. as ome nights are 0, some nights are 0.2 etc under this measure. Is central AI similar to AHI where anything under a certain amount is fine or is any amount (even 0.2/0.4, etc) of central ai is dangerous and needs to be addressed? Thanks in advance!

Most users will record a small amount of centrals, so your mention of 0.x is very low and not requiring an action. Centrals are really only a concern for those like myself that had an extremely high count on the sleep study. By high CA count, this is more than 50% of the overall events. My CA were over 5 times higher than obstructive events (124 CA 24 OA).

Take note that a setting edit to reduce centrals causes an increase in obstructive and vice versa.
