OK TO IMPORT SLEEP DATA FROM OLD SD CARD INTO OSCAR W/O MESSING UP CURRENT DATA? - Plmnb - 03-21-2024 I think I would like to import sleep data from a previous SD card (used in a prior model ResMed I believe). (I am sure there is a logical reason all my previous data (prior to March 2023) is missing from my OSCAR program, but as usual I can't figure it out on my own). Not sure why the data is missing from OSCAR. The data from March 2023 is still present and this is even after updating the OSCAR program recently and I never deleted the OSCAR program from my computer since joining the board way back when. Will I mess up current data by attempting to import the data from the old card? (I'm not even 100% positive there is anything on it that is what I am looking for. I am trying to find the data that correlates to sleep video I have from 2020). Thank you helpful peeps. RE: OK TO IMPORT SLEEP DATA FROM OLD SD CARD INTO OSCAR W/O MESSING UP CURRENT DATA? - Ibrumley - 03-28-2024 I too use OSCAR (1.5.2) on Windows 10 (my 14 year old laptop can't run Windows 11) and have imported multiple times a previous model's data card. Now I just import from a folder where it is saved if I have to. Do make a copy of the SD card first and slide the write protect on to be safe. I have CPAP data from 3 different machines in my list and soon to have a fourth. Oh and for your information I just downloaded my SD card for my Airsense 10 that had over 400 days on it successfully; however it took it a long time to process. With MyAir I didn't see the need to download myself except for the SPO2 data (I bought the Oximetry Kit for my CPAP). RE: OK TO IMPORT SLEEP DATA FROM OLD SD CARD INTO OSCAR W/O MESSING UP CURRENT DATA? - pholynyk - 03-29-2024 The difficulty with importing old data is that OSCAR is set up up to import data newer than the latest date imported.. This can be gotten around by creating a new empty profile for the old data. You won't be able to combine the data sets for complete analysis but that's not usually too important. RE: OK TO IMPORT SLEEP DATA FROM OLD SD CARD INTO OSCAR W/O MESSING UP CURRENT DATA? - Plmnb - 03-29-2024 Thank you. I actually did figure this out on my own believe it or not.
