Impact of Resmed P10 on Nostrils - ivan007 - 03-26-2024

Hi all,
As the Resmed P10 nasal pillow will be in contact with the nostrils and also pushing up the muscle around nostrils, would the prolong usage of the pillow affect the shape of the nose?

Any users who have used the P10 for years kindly share if there is any impact on the nostrils?

Ivan

Been using the P10 nasal pillow mask since 2014. My nose looks the same.

You have to be careful not to over-tighten the straps, where it pushes up or back on the nostrils. Also the pillow should not be inserted into the nares, but sit just under.
Once the air is turned on, the pillows will inflate, and you can adjust the top part of the headgear by pulling forward or back, as long as it doesn't push on the nose.

If the pillow ends up inserted into the nares, you are using the wrong size. Go up a size.

With that said, after ten years, I find myself starting to mouth breathe. Sad
I'm looking into the new ResMed F40 full face.
