Is there a quiet travel CPAP? - mcman56 - 04-15-2024

I bought one of the travel ResMed machines but returned it because it was way too loud.   Is there a quiet travel CPAP with a noise level comparable to a ResMed AirSense 10 AUTOSET?  Transcend makes one that claims to be quiet but I have seen postings on this site saying otherwise.

I can't answer Your question from experience ..  But I think there are decible numbers published
for most machines ..  You can compare them the lower the decible number the quieter the machine is ..
Good Luck ..

I just bought the transcend mini cpap and used it for first time last night.  It is noisy even with the muffler attachment. most of the noise comes from the mask vents. I did manage to sleep thorugh the night with ear plugs.  Not sure if I am keeping though the $150 usd restocking fee and shipping might make me just keep it. It is tiny so may have to just pur up with the noise while traveling.

Did you try a different mask?
