ResMed blower motor disassembly - PinehillJoe - 04-15-2024 I replaced to blower on the ResMed unit I had been using before insurance covered a replacement. I read one thread about replacing the bearings in a blower. Anyone know how to take the two halves of the housing apart? Mine looks glued. thanks, in advance RE: ResMed blower motor disassembly - jcp519 - 04-15-2024 I don't think its possible to take apart the motor without damaging it. They do sell replacement motors on Amazon, but I assume you're trying to avoid replacing it again. RE: ResMed blower motor disassembly - PinehillJoe - 04-15-2024 I purchased a replacement and installed it in my old machine, ~$125 on Amazon. The machine works fine. I was more curious if the housing could be taken apart. and the bearings replaced. A bearing is a bearing when you know the dimensions. Looks like the housing is glued together and can not be separated without surgery. RE: ResMed blower motor disassembly - Phaleronic - 04-15-2024 Yeah, probably not worth the hassle.. |
