Wellue data off since daylight savings change - brainfoggysleeper - 04-16-2024 Hi folks - since daylight savings recently changed our timezone back an hour my O2 ring data isn't showing at the correct times in OSCAR, it is off by an hour. I changed my time on the CPAP, and that is showing correctly, and in the Wellue app on my phone the times are correct, but when importing to OSCAR they are off by an hour. How can I fix this? RE: Wellue data off since daylight savings change - Crimson Nape - 04-16-2024 The ViHealth app should update the ring each time it is connected. Using O2 Insight Pro requires you to manually update the oximeter. If it is not updating, then you might have a defective device. You can rename the data file to correct the time, too. Here is a link describing this: https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php?title=Wellue_Viatom_File_Import#Syncing_your_Oximeter_times_with_OSCAR - Red RE: Wellue data off since daylight savings change - SleepyAF - 08-20-2024 Hi there - I am using a resmed 11 autoset and it looks like it is set to GMT-5. I am not sure if it is adjusting for daylight savings time, while the Wellue o2 ring seems to be? Importing both seems to be an hour off (assuming because DST puts us at GMT-4). Is there any way to manually adjust the start point of the o2 data within Oscar? Or remove the o2 data and reimport with a specific start time? RE: Wellue data off since daylight savings change - Crimson Nape - 08-20-2024 Hi SleepyAF! - Your AS11 is set to a fixed timezone. Currently, it does not recognize DST. Normally, the exact start and end times are not important, just actual time of use. That is, until you try to incorporate a 3rd party device, like your oximeter. Yes, there is a way of adjusting the Wellue's time. Please see this Wiki article on this subject. https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php/Wellue_Viatom_File_Import#Syncing_your_Oximeter_times_with_OSCAR Also, the newer Viatom/Wellue software adds an extension (.dat) after the date. The Wiki hasn't been updated, and the absence of mentioning the ".dat" extension in the article confuses some. OSCAR will read the file name with or without this extension. - Red RE: Wellue data off since daylight savings change - SleepyAF - 08-21-2024 Oh super easy - it will work from the file name itself. I'll throw a script together to rename based on whether we are in daylight savings or not (DST in general just needs to go away). On a side note, I also tried to get the wellue software working inside a virtual machine but oddly the oracle vm software did not recognize the o2 device as shareable (just me being overly cautious with vendor software and security) so I had to install it directly to my machine. Blocked all of its internet access though Thanks! RE: Wellue data off since daylight savings change - Crimson Nape - 08-21-2024 I run VirtualBox 7.0 and if you install the guest additions, it will recognize the USB/HID communications. - Red |
